Huh?

Enlever Town Mass Kidnapping: File #3

Two Weeks Ago:

* Alley behind abandoned café on Mortis Street ended in a false wall. Wall rang hollow when struck, but was too thick to destroy by natural human strength. What lies behind remains unknown.

Last Week to Present:

* Bodies that were switched by unknown substance, BaSa, were switched back by another unknown substance, YSIG. Many guests complain of side effects, such as body aches; all complain of initial headaches. Sole trend is that those with superhuman strength/abilities complain of the body aches, pain, and sometimes bleeding. Those known as having no supernatural abilities only suffered headaches. Will inquire further about specific injuries.

* Masami-san and several others experience facial reflections moving against their will. Plan of action: watch reflection for extended periods of time and record results. Will attempt upon waking, at noon, and after curfew.

* Attempts to discover how everyone is being watched and followed have yielded no concrete results. Considering the unseen intercom system, this is no surprise.

* Déjà vu experienced by myself, Ran, and several others has found a concrete basis, though it relies upon personal memory. One of my first memories of Enlever Town was taking a walk down Mortis Street, where a ragged, old man with a handlebar mustache and striped pants tripped over a rake and dropped a rotten ham. I clearly saw this happen again. Will seek other connections soon.

* Attitude in townspeople has shifted.  It's subtle, but their disposition is more lively than before.  Brainwashing theory to be reconsidered.

* Motive unclear at present, other than sadistic/voyeuristic enjoyment the Host and his employees gain from watching captives suffer. May involve a psychological experiment, but this is speculation.

Ho Hum, Thoughtful

Enlever Town Mass Kidnapping: File #2

Several discoveries over the past weeks:

1) Elevator shaft houses over 100 different species of arachnids.  At least 10 of them were recognizable Earth species, a.k.a. species native to the world that includes Beikacho of Tokyo, Japan.  Three of these species are poisonous.  Nests and larvae were present, so they are reproducing naturally.  However, the Host has been known to transport beings from other worlds and to manipulate others with delusions.  Spiders could be native.  Results: Inconclusive.

2) Pond water is contaminated.  L-san and I discovered the Town Square pond to be manmade; contaminated by dumping.  Results: Host is a sadistic ass.  Oh, wait, we knew that already.

3) Most significant: Apprentice made a deal with the Host to relieve the punishments and began taking requests for supplies.  Most supplies were half-assed not as helpful as they could be.  Uncertain if Apprentice is trustworthy.  He remains subject to the Host in more ways than one.  Results: Proceed with caution.
